How it works

Reserve Your Share

Place a deposit to reserve your 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or whole bison. Once we sell the whole bison we will field harvest and deliver the animal to the processing facility.

Get Your Meat

Once the animal is processed at a state certified processing facility we will reach out to arrange shipping or delivery and final billing.

We field harvest October to March. We also offer a limited number of bison hunts during this time. Call for more information on our hunts 406-696-3003.  

 

meat Packages

We offer bison meat packages from 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, or whole. Once your deposit is paid and the animal is selected, we then field harvest and send it off for processing for the freshest bison meat possible.

How Many Pounds of Meat will my Freezer Hold? 

A rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer space for each 35-40 pounds of cut and wrapped meat. Allow slightly more space when the meat is packaged in odd shapes.

An 1/8 is 35 to 50 pounds, 1/4 is 70 to 100 pounds, 1/2 is 140 to 200 pounds and a whole bison is 280 to 400 pounds. Total wight will very depending on the size of the animal harvested.
